
Amesbury for Africa is one-half of a friendship-based development partnership between the town of Amesbury and our sister village of Esabalu in Western Kenya.
Since 1987 we have promoted multiple people-to-people exchange visits. Over 250 Amesbury citizens have traveled to Africa to assist the village with economic and social development. And 38 of Esabalu's villagers have come to Amesbury to assist us in learning about the problems facing developing countries like Kenya. Exchanges have involved youths as well as adults.
